Apple-Pineapple-Ginger Halwa Balls from Juicer Pulp

When I juiced the apples and pineapple , I wanted  to make good use of the pulp of this juice instead of throwing it.As it is a wonderful combination of fruits I ended up making a delicious and healthy halwa .

This is how this recipe is made---------------

Main Ingredients :
------------------------
Apple-Pineapple-Ginger Pulp.........2cups(pulp after juicing in Juice Recipe #10)
Agave Nectar.................................1/4cup
Milk Powder..................................1/4cup(non-fat dry)

Seasoning Ingredients :
--------------------------
Ghee/Clarified Butter.................... 4tsp
Cardamom....................................4(powdered)

Garnish :
--------------
Walnuts..........................................few

Preparation :
-------------------
Take the collected pulp after juicing and grind it in the blender jar to get the pulp into a smooth paste.I got 2 cups of pulp.

Now place a pan on the stove on medium high heat and add ghee to it.Once the ghee heats up add the walnuts and toast them.Once the walnuts are toasted take them out and keep aside.

Add the 2 cups of pulp to the remaining ghee in the pan and cook it stirrring occassionally till the rawness is gone.

Now add the agave nectar and milk powder and stir well and cook for 2more minutes.

Finally add the crushed cardamom powder and walnuts and mix them well.

Delicious and healthy Apple-Pineapple-Ginger Halwa is ready to be served.

Serve them in any shape you like .My kids wanted them as round balls , hence this shape.

Note :
-----------
1) It was delicious when served warm as well as when served cold.

2) My kids loved this combination so much that they all vanished in no time.

3) I mentioned ginger in the title as I used ginger too while juicing.

4) This is a great way to use the juiced pulp without wasting it.

5) I blended the pulp in the mixie jar because the pulp contains all the peels and the fiber from the fruits and they are in uneven consistency, blending heps them to get into even texture and it makes cooking easy.
